Common Dryer Repairs
- Not Heating: The most common issue. In electric dryers, this is usually a burned-out heating element, blown thermal fuse, or a defective thermostat.
- Drum Not Spinning: Usually a broken drive belt. We also replace worn drum rollers and idler pulleys to ensure smooth operation.
- Taking Too Long to Dry: Often a sign of restricted airflow due to lint buildup in the exhaust vent, but can also point to weak heating elements.
- Making Squeaking Noises: Points to worn drum support rollers or a dry idler pulley bearing.
